With its high-performance and highly powerful capabilities, the Clarett⁺ 8Pre is a powerhouse studio centrepiece for PC and Mac that empowers producers, engineers, and artists to deliver their finest work.
High-quality Clarett⁺ mic preamps with All-analogue Air and impedance switching for clean, clear recordings of vocals, percussion, and acoustic instruments. Dual JFET instrument inputs enable guitars to sound as natural as when plugged into an amplifier.
Recordings with very broad dynamic range, low noise, and low distortion have never been closer to artists, thanks to Clarrett+ 8Pre's independent A-D and D-A converters. The much-enhanced D-A dynamic range presents a plethora of no-compromise audio quality to engineers and producers. You'll have a far better ability to catch signals with pristine clarity thanks to the dramatically low AD converter distortion.
Artists are inspired to hear every element of their sound on any sort of headphones, be able to customise their foldback mix, and play their best thanks to two headphone outputs that are both powerful and transparent. You may continually expand your creative ideas while always preserving analogue purity and exceptional audio clarity with the Clarett⁺ 8Pre regardless of whether you're multi-tracking a drum kit or connecting to synthesisers and outboard equipment. Add eight inputs and outputs through ADAT and hook up MIDI and S/PDIF equipment to take use of the Clarett OctoPre's maximum creative possibilities.

As a result, creativity can flow naturally, and all of your ideas can be captured using XLN Audio Addictive Keys, Addictive Drums 2: Studio Rock Kit, Celemony Melodyne Essential, Brainwork bx_console Focusrite SC and Softube Flow® Guitar Essentials.

Two professional-quality Clarett⁺ preamps
Preamplifiers with a lot of headroom, minimal distortion, and ultra-low noise allow you to capture crystal-clear and powerful recordings.
Make vocals shine with All-analogue Air
By setting the impedance to 2.2k and adding two cumulative high shelves, each preamp emulates the old Focusrite ISA 110, giving you an extra 4dB of gain in the higher frequencies of the audio spectrum.
New and improved A-D and D-A converters
With high-performance, separate A-D and D-A converters that offer low noise, low distortion, and a wide dynamic range, you can capture more accurate recordings wherever you are.
Powerful and transparent headphone output
Produce your strongest mixes and recordings, as well as inspire spectacular performances, with an enhanced headphone output that delivers a flat frequency response at all settings for any type of headphones.
JFET instrument inputs
Guitar amp inputs are emulated by dedicated, ultra-high-impedance JFET instrument inputs with an exceptionally broad audio bandwidth, preserving the genuine tone and character of guitars.
ADAT optical input
To make the most of Clarett+ 2Pre, connect it to ADAT-compatible outboard gear, such as Clarett OctoPre, which has eight channels of digital expandability.
USB-C bus-powered
Bus power is provided through the USB-C connector. A 15W USB-C port is required.

Hitmaker Expansion is a curated bundle of software from Focusrite partners, designed to deliver big-studio sound in any recording setup.
To keep the bundle fresh and valuable for new users, Focusrite regularly reviews and updates its contents. They are pleased to introduce two new additions to Hitmaker Expansion:
Celemony Melodyne Essential
Intuitive pitch and timing correction for monophonic vocals and instruments, as well as drums, drones, and more, powered by Melodyne’s renowned natural-sounding algorithms.
Key Features include easy-to-use vocal correction based on the same Grammy Award-winning sound quality as larger editions of Melodyne, edit monophonic vocal and instrumental tracks, as well as drums, and even full mixes and make sweeping adjustments with macro controls or detailed edits to the pitch, timing, and duration of each individual note.
Softube Flow® Guitar Essentials
A streamlined guitar toolkit featuring two amp simulations, three effects, and ready-to-use guitar signal chains, delivering realistic recorded tones with maximum flexibility and minimal setup.
Key Features include two authentic-sounding amp sims with matching cabinets: Pacific Dual Tremolo 100W Black and Custom 100W, three creative effects: British Class A Drive, Kraft Overdrive/Distortion, and Doom Chvrch Reverb and a collection of pro guitar signal chains to get you going.

These new plugins are available to all new and existing owners of Scarlett 4th Gen, Scarlett 3rd Gen, Clarett+, Clarett USB, and Red interfaces purchased and registered on or after 30th October 2025. From this date, Melodyne Essential and Softube Flow® Guitar Essentials replace Antares Auto-Tune Access and Softube Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555. Users who have already installed and activated the outgoing plugins will continue to have access to them.
