The Novation Mini Mk3 is designed to be portable, yet a capable solution for music production. With 64 RGB pads and seamless integration with Ableton Live, this controller is perfect as your hands-on controller for generating musical ideas. If you are a live musician, then this has vast potential benefits for you. You can use Ableton Live to sequence stems while you perform some other live elements, or even use this as a performer itself.
The Launchpad Mini MKIII comes with three custom performance modes which adds even more scope and creative potential to your live performances. The modes are Drums, Keys, and User - all controllable and customisable from the included software.
The Drums mode gives you hands-on performance controls for your Ableton drum rack extensions. The keys mode lets you play any synthesisers you have in Ableton chromatically. The user section lets you customise your pad controller; this allows you to create a template based on the requirements of your live performances. A truly powerful performance tool for if you need to launch multiple scenes quickly and easily.
The simplistic stop, solo, and mute controls on the top of the unit means you will be spending less time using the computer. Additionally, the USB-C connector means connectivity speeds are fast and latency is lower than ever.
The Launchpad Mini Mk3 is now fully compatible with Live Loops, the cell-based looping playback and performance feature, thanks to Apple releasing Logic Pro version 10.6. The update brings the ability to trigger cells from the grid, get more hands-on with producing and performing, and projects can be easily navigated. You can directly record to cells in Note and Chord mode and then have further control to solo, mute, record arm or stop tracks. Clearing and duplicating cells and quantising of the notes recorded into a cell are effortlessly controlled through dedicated buttons.
Also included is Cubase LE 14, a powerful DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) designed for aspiring music producers, songwriters, and audio engineers. With support for up to 16 audio tracks, 24 MIDI tracks, and 8 virtual instrument tracks, it provides the tools needed to craft professional-quality music from the ground up. Whether you're recording vocals, programming beats, or layering synths, Cubase LE 14 lets you capture up to 8 audio channels simultaneously.

- If you already have Ableton Live it must be version 10 or greater to work with Launchpad Mini. We recommend that you update to the latest version as previous versions of Ableton Live do not include the Launchpad Mini integration. Launchpad Mini will also work as a standard MIDI controller.
