The Yamaha MG16XU Analogue USB Mixer has a plethora of high-quality preamps, as well as plenty of connections and processing to help you optimise your sound. Once you've created a nice sound, you can send it anywhere you want with the help of the group and aux sends.

Yamaha MG XU Mixers work seamlessly with your digital environment. With an integrated 2-in/2-out USB interface and included Cubase AI software, you can quickly connect to a PC or laptop and start making fantastic live recordings.

Yamaha's SPX digital effects engine may be used to make remedial adjustments or to add some artistic flare to your mix. You will get access to a suite of 24 customizable effects in an easy-to-use style. No matter what you're mixing, get the most out of your sound.

Microphone Preamps D-PRE

The MG16XU includes newly revised D-PRE mic preamps that use an inverted Darlington circuit architecture to produce higher power while having a lower impedance. These isolated class-A preamps, originally designed for use with Yamaha's high-end recording equipment, guarantee that your signal preserves its original character and artistic expression.

Op-Amp with Studio Quality

The head amp circuit influences overall sound quality, and op-amp integrated circuits are one of the most significant components. All MG series mixers have new, high-quality, custom-made MG01 op-amps developed by Yamaha in collaboration with the semiconductor manufacturer. The MG01 op-amps contain new circuitry, including internal components and cabling, to provide excellent resolution and transient responses.

Compressors with One Knob

The newly updated 1-knob compressor indicators on the Yamaha MG16XU allow you to visually monitor when compression ''kicks in'' on each channel. By changing a single control, these clever compressors provide appropriately tuned compression to a wide range of input sources, eliminating the need to set up and install complicated outboard equipment.

Digital Effects SPX

The Yamaha MG mixer is suitable for both musical and non-musical purposes, and it comes with inbuilt high-resolution effects that allow you to personalise the sound for each performance. Yamaha's famous SPX processor comes with a full suite of 24 adjustable digital effects that are ideal for boosting your mix.

Al Cubase

The MG series mixing consoles come with a downloaded copy of Steinberg's Cubase Al software. This full DAW package offers you with a strong and adaptable music production platform.
