Yamaha DZR10 10'' Active PA Speaker (2000 Watts)

The Yamaha DZR10 10-inch Active PA Speaker is the first in its range that is a 2000 watts powerful compact loudspeaker. It features an integrated two-way Class-D amplifier, with a 10-inch low-frequency (LF) driver and a 2-inch high-frequency (HF) driver design. It also includes 96kHz processors, advanced FIR-X Tuning, D-Contour multi-band compressor and an LCD screen at the rear. The frequency response of the unit is 44Hz – 20kHz and has a sound pressure level of 137dB.

The 96kHz processors aid in providing impressive power output, which results in superb audio performance along with low latency. The advanced FIR-X Tuning offers exceptional sound quality along with a smooth crossover, thanks to its linear phase FIR filters. There are additional EQ filtering options for that little bit of extra fine-tuning.

The two-way Class-D amplifier is a smart design feature which you cannot find within previous models. The speaker comprises of a 10-inch LF driver featuring a 10-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, a 2-inch HF driver featuring a 1-inch compression tweeter and a 2-inch voice coil, along with a Class-D amp at the heart. The amplifier produces a peak power of 2000 watts, more than enough to cope with multiple applications. The D-Contour multi-band compressor ensures clear, precise and consistent sound even at the highest volume levels.

At the rear of the DZR10, there is a built-in LCD screen where you can monitor and direct various settings. Some of the parameters can be modified directly using the display and rotary knob including DSP functions, loading presets, adjust the routing, delay and PEQ. There is the option for up to 8 user presets to be stored and access can be gained immediately upon requirement.

Thanks to its robust and sturdy build, the Yamaha Active Speaker is ideal for portable and commercial uses. It has a rotatable horn which allows for both vertical and horizontal mounting and handles for easy transportation. There are additional rigging points, pole sockets, and a 50° floor monitor angle. At the rear of the unit, there are various connections, including two XLR/TRS Combo, two XLR outputs, and one USB port.
