The Yamaha DXS15 Mk2 is a powerful active subwoofer that comes fitted with a large 15-inch low-frequency woofer alongside a 1020w Class D amplifier that effortlessly gives your sound a massive low-end extension. This subwoofer is perfect for small to medium sized club, bar, and music venues as well as mobile DJs, schools and colleges, events productions, and entertainment facilities.

The DXS15 Mk2 is equipped with a large 15-inch low-frequency driver alongside a custom designed 2.5-inch voice coil which work in perfect harmony to deliver a frequency response that ranges from 40 Hz – 150 Hz and offers a consistent, high-quality sound with exceptional clarity. A robust Class D amplifier seamlessly provides you with 1020w of peak power and gives you a maximum sound pressure level of 136dB with no distortion that could damage your sound. An integrated D-XSUB digital signal processor comes with a boost function for an even bigger low-end response. The subwoofer’s enclosure features a band-pass design for effectively reducing unwanted resonances and vibrations that could otherwise damage your sound.

The built-in D-XSUB digital signal processor comes with a range of control options that work to ensure your performances are as smooth as possible. For speaker arrangements that feature more than two DXS subwoofers, selecting the ‘Cardioid Mode’ decreases stage-side sound pressure while also enhancing the low-end output directed towards the audience, this results in more monitoring clarity for the on-stage performers as well as an enhanced bass experience for the audience. A ‘Boost’ function gives you a tighter and more focused bass response while ‘Xtended LF’ mode drops low-frequencies down even lower giving you a massive low-end extension.

The DXS 15 Mk2 is housed inside of a highly-durable plywood enclosure that features a band-pass design that effectively reduces unwanted vibrations and resonances that could seriously damage your sound. The plywood housing comes with a Polyurea coating that works to adequately protect the cabinet from scratches, bumps, and severe weather conditions and helps maintain a professional appearance. The compact, lightweight construction allows the subwoofer to be transported from gig to gig easily.
