The Yamaha DXS12 Mk2 is an active subwoofer that comes equipped with a large 12-inch woofer alongside a 1020w Class D amplifier that works effortlessly to deliver an impressive sound pressure level and a thick low-end extension to your sound. This subwoofer is perfect for small-medium sized club, bar, and music venues as well as mobile DJs, schools and colleges, entertainment facilities, and events productions.

The highly-efficient 1020w Class D amplifier works effortlessly to deliver a huge sound pressure level of 136dB with a frequency response that ranges from 42 Hz – 150 Hz giving you a massive low-end extension. The 12-inch woofer comes fitted with a custom-designed 2.5-inch voice coil magnet that delivers a clear low-frequency bass response with minimal distortion at all times. A built-in D-XSUB digital signal processor provides you with a boost function for an even lower frequency response. This subwoofer is housed inside of a band-pass designed enclosure that effectively reduces unwanted vibrations and noise that could otherwise ruin your sound.

The DXS12 Mk2 comes housed inside of a super-durable road-ready enclosure that features a band-pass design ensuring unwanted vibrations and resonances will not ruin your sound. The plywood housing is coated in a Polyurea coating that is extremely damage resistant and protects the sub against scratches, bumps, and even severe weather conditions helping to maintain a professional appearance for years. The subwoofer comes fitted with dual pole mounts so you can mount a satellite speaker on top of the sub if necessary.
