The Yamaha DXR8mk2 8” Active PA Speaker boasts an array of audio technology onboard a deceiving lightweight exterior. Not only does it feature an impressive 130 dB SPL output, but also a frequency range of 57Hz – 20kHz.
The 2-way, bi-amped, bass reflexed powered speaker features an intelligent multi-band D-contour compressor which enhances your sound, while the FIR-X tuning not only splits your high and low frequencies but also stops phase issues within the mid-range. The Class D amplification is highly efficient with a continuous output of 700 watts and has a dynamic power of 1100 watts.
The Yamaha’s integrated three-channel mixer allows you to configure input sources. These are present in the form of two ¼” jack, one XLR/¼” jack combo and two RCA inputs. There are also two 35mm speaker pole mounts at 0° and 7°, which allows for flexible positioning.
