DHR-10 is a 10-inch active PA loudspeaker by Yamaha. DHR-10's custom-designed transducers are engineered to get the most out of the speaker, as are all of the DHR-series speakers. When it comes to this range, you can expect high SPL outputs, strong bass and a precise 1.4-inch compression driver with minimum distortion. To ensure a solid and strong performance from them, Yamaha's DHR-Series features the same durable plywood casing as their DZR-Series.

Yamaha has created FIR-X especially for this speaker line using cutting-edge DSP technology. Linear-phase FIR (finite impulse response) filters will give a constant phase and frequency response, while also changing the time alignment between the high-frequency and low-frequency transducers, instead of the conventional crossover filters used in most loudspeakers. A clean, defined transition is the result, with minimal phase distortion and no dips and peaks common around the crossover frequency.
The new FIR-X system from Yamaha is only the beginning of the DSP features packed into this fantastic floor monitor. The D-CONTOUR is a dynamic, adaptive multi-band compressor that works to offer your stage performers with a vibrant but clear sound. D-CONTOUR will monitor the levels of certain frequency bands and adjust what it detects in real-time. There are two built-in modes: FOH/MAIN and MONITOR. FOH/MAIN is designed primarily to enhance low-frequency sounds to compensate for the loss of bass when using a flying or pole-mounted speakers. The MONITOR mode, on the other hand, is designed particularly for the DHR10, attenuating low-frequency material so that performers on stage can hear themselves more clearly or engineers may verify monitor mixes with precision.
As if D-CONTOUR and FIR-X were not there, Yamaha has expanded DSP technology in the DHR Series all the way down to the component level. Yamaha has developed a technique to push every power amplifier and transducer in the speaker's circuitry to its maximum operational output at all times by carefully and thoroughly testing every power amplifier and transducer in the speaker's circuitry. Using DSP, they guaranteed that each component performs optimally while never exceeding its limitations, delivering consistent power that you can rely on anywhere.
The FIR-X DSP technology from Yamaha achieves unrivalled precision and clarity at driver crossover frequencies. Phase smear distortion is eliminated by employing linear phase Finite Infinite Response filters instead of typical minimum phase filters. Instead of sudden dips or spikes at crossover frequencies, FIR-high-quality X's converters provide a smooth, clean transition with no loss.
The Yamaha DHR Series is powered by high-efficiency Class-D amplifiers, ensuring unrivalled power behind both drivers at all times. With a maximum SPL output of 129dB, your performers will not miss even the most minor aspects of their performance.
The compression driver is extremely common, but the DHR12M takes a different approach. A coaxial design not only produces a crisp, airy high-end, but also a pleasant, warm mid-range rendition. And it's all done with precise time alignment and phase, so nothing gets lost and your high-end frequencies have the punch they need to cut through the mix.
The DHR10 not only has jaw-dropping power and cutting-edge DSP, but it also has a two-channel mixer for regulated use. Two channels mean two combo connectors, but Channel 2 also has a set of stereo RCA jacks for stereo line-level input, as well as the option to sum both channels or bypass Channel 2 with the push of a button.
