The Next Beat by Tiësto DJ Controller

The Next Beat by Tiësto is an all-in-one DJ controller designed to inspire the future generation and teach them how to DJ. It is a high-quality controller with loads of features and functions and has been co-developed by world-renowned DJ Tiësto. The controller is not only easy-to-use but also designed to inspire DJs to learn the craft and improve their skills. Accompanying The Next Beat controller is a range of classes, software and a trial subscription for Beatport.

The controller has plug-and-play functionality and can be used with a PC, Mac or iOS smartphone. DJ lessons can be accessed online and offer a range of classes from beginner to mixing at your first gig. As the unit is all-in-one, it means you have the hardware, software, teaching platform and also access to music.

With The Next Beat comes a free 30-day trial period to access over 6 million tracks and mixes from around the globe through Beatport LINK and Beatsource LINK. As for software, the controller offers full compatibility with Algoriddim’s djay app on iOS and Mac or in-browser Beatport DJ app.

The Next Beat DJ Controller Features

The unit features two robust jog wheels with an illuminated LED ring and a touch area on top, 16 colour trigger pads (eight on each deck), and an audio mixer in the centre which comes with EQ, cue, level faders, gains, crossfader and a clear level meter aka a VU meter. A professional 4-channel soundcard (2x stereo) is perfect for headphones and a master output for speakers. Other connections include Bluetooth for connecting mobile devices and accessing the DJ app, analogue audio input for using a mobile device as a sound source via RCA cable connection, a 6.3mm jack microphone input with independent volume control, two 3.5mm / 6.3mm headphone jack connectors with phones level volume control and USB port for connection to laptops/computers as well as being used as a power source.

Further features include three FX buttons per deck which provide instant control of effects, including FX level and FX parameters directly from the DJ app, Browse button for selecting and loading tracks, Sync button for automatically syncing tracks making beat matching simple, Keylock, which locks the track within the selected key and Sampler where sounds and effects can be played on each deck.

There is the option to select eight cue points per deck using hot cues or use Auto Loop or Manual Loop to loop beats. In addition, each deck offers eight loop choices. Finally, use the Wheel button to select between pitch bending and scratching.
