The Adam Audio SUB8 is a powerful 8.5-inch subwoofer designed to complement the smaller AX-Series of monitors. The sub is designed to extend low frequency capabilities down to 30Hz, great for nearfield monitors. The unit features a 1.5-inch voice coil driven by a 160w ICE power amplifier which is able to handle maximum power levels even during longer mixing sessions. Input level and crossover frequency settings can be adjusted using two motorised knobs on the front. Alternatively, the included wireless remote can also be used to optimise these settings and more.
The Adam Audio Sub 8 is equipped with balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) input and output connectors which allow the woofer to be used in the home or studio environments. In addition, numerous control options enable flexible adjustments to suit the room acoustics (up to 20 square meters).
