The XPRS2 Series combines the original XPRS Series' adaptability and mobility with enhanced sound performance and aural intelligibility to create a high-caliber speaker system for mobile DJs, live sound, houses of worship, rental and fixed installations. The XPRS2 Series builds on Pioneer DJ's decades of proven experience and technology while introducing new improvements to help artists and venues achieve their best-ever events.
Powerful Class D Amplification
The Pioneer DJ XPRS2 Series uses Class D amplification with high output wattage to provide a powerful and exceptional audio experience for both performers and audiences. Class D 2000 W amplification is used in the XPRS102 and XPRS122 full-range speakers, while Class D 4000 W amplification is used in the XPRS1152S and XPRS1182S subwoofers.
High-Quality, Robust Build
The all-new XPRS2 Series speakers have elegant all-black, durable plywood enclosures that provide performance in demanding outdoor and indoor situations. All series versions include a sturdy handle to aid in system transportation and handling during setup and takedown. The XPRS2 Series additionally has rubber feet for surface separation and shock absorption.
Three DSP Modes
Both XPRS2 subwoofers have three separate DSP preset settings to suit diverse listening environments, these include: Boost, Extended LF, and Normal.
Accurate Audio Performance
The Pioneer DJ XPRS1152S uses a 15" ferrite woofer with a 3" voice coil with a long excursion, whilst the bigger XPRS1182S uses an 18" ferrite woofer with a 3" voice coil with a long excursion to generate low frequencies with precision.
Frequency Response
The frequency response and maximum SPL of the new XPRS2 subwoofers are comparable to those of the XPRS2 full-range speakers. The XPRS1152S has a frequency response of 45 Hz - 120 Hz and a maximum SPL of 129 dB, while the XPRS1182S version has a frequency range of 40 Hz - 120 Hz and a maximum SPL of 130 dB. Both subwoofers combine the performance of a permanent instal subwoofer with the added compact mobility required by today's mobile artists, performers, and venues.
