The FBT Ventis 115a is an active 900w speaker with a 2-way bi-amplified bass reflex design; the speaker sends 700w RMS to the low-frequency drivers and 200w RMS to the high-frequency drivers. The 115a features a combination of B&C compression drivers and FBT’s custom long excursion woofer that help give this speaker an incredible size to SPL ratio.
The Ventis 115a speakers are best suited for stage use as either stage monitors or as the front of house PA speakers and have been built to withstand the rigours of everyday stage handling.The 115a has been housed in a scratch-resistant 15mm birch plywood chassis with a full grille covering the front that has been treated with special acoustic cloth, providing you with the smooth sound characteristics that FBT are well known for. The Ventis also features fully rotatable constant directivity horns to provide you with accurate coverage.
The FBT Ventis 115a also comes with a powerful integrated DSP (digital signal processor) and gives you six versatile preset performance settings that have been crafted by FBT’s expert audio engineers. The presets consist of:
- Original/Live – Gives you the renowned, smooth FBT sound.
- Vocal – A special equaliser setting that maximises speech intelligibility.
- DJ – Designed to give you energetic sound that keeps your audience dancing.
- Touring – Gives you the reliability and roar of the most popular touring systems.
- Loudness – The best preset for listening at a low to medium volume.
- Warm – A setting that emphasises full-bodied low to mid frequencies.
