The sE Electronics DM1 Dynamite is an active inline microphone pre-amp that is designed to work alongside a passive ribbon or dynamic microphone and a microphone preamplifier. The DM1 provides you with an additional +28dB of gain and is ideal for boosting a signal from a passive microphone while also reducing the likelihood of interference and significantly improving the level to your pre-amp. The DM1 Dynamite is ideal for any studio or stage where you need an increased level from your passive ribbon or dynamic microphones.

The DM1 Dynamite comes with a highly-sophisticated class-A design and makes use of specially selected high-grade FETs which work to offer the lowest self-made noise in its class making it ideal for helping to capture any audio source. A consistent +28dB of gain is always provided, regardless of the connected load thanks to a dedicated output buffer amplifier while the output impedance ensures it can drive long cable runs while simultaneously reducing the susceptibility to RF interference, buzzes, and hums. You’ll always get a reliable operation even during the most demanding of on-stage applications and challenging environments thanks to the robust all-metal construction that is roadworthy and reaches the highest of manufacturing standards.

For the best results it is recommended to the plug the DM1 directly into the output of the microphone you’re using; however, if required you can use a cable between the microphone and the DM1 but keep in mind that the shorter the cable, the better the overall performance. It should also be noted the DM1 Dynamite should not be used with condenser microphones or active ribbon microphones and is only suitable for passive microphones. A preamp, mixer, or audio interface with 48v phantom power should always be used when utilising the DM1.
