This Roland music production package includes a TR-8S rhythm performer as well as a boutique SE-02 analogue synthesiser which provides you with fresh creative performance controls as well as a wealth of exciting functions designed to give you a fluid workflow with a high-quality sound. This package is perfect for both live performers as well as music producers thanks to the excellent functionalities which provide you with access to a broad range of professional sound design tools.
The TR-8S is a rhythm performer which is based on one of the most influential drum machines ever created, the TR-808, but combines the legendary Roland sound with contemporary production functionalities for creating new, exciting drum sounds. The TR-8S has been pre-programmed with the most iconic drum samples of all time alongside a massive library of sounds you can utilise in your productions and performances, or you can import your own sounds and manipulate them sing an array of hands-on controls and production tools. The new Analogue Circuit Behaviour offers a whole other level of detail and nuances which gives you the classic Roland sound.
The SE-02 is an analogue synthesiser which has been designed in collaboration with Studio Electronics and is filled with discrete analogue circuitry that gives you a distinctively vintage sound alongside a plethora of programming controls for building your own sounds. The SE-02 delivers huge tones and textures with super-expressive hands-on controls alongside an intuitive step sequencer for sequencing musical phrases and loops. There are three voltage controlled oscillators alongside a 24dB low-pass filter and a dual gain-stage amplifier as well as three modulation types including cross modulation, a feedback looper, and a noise generator plus a tempo-syncing LFO with nine available waveforms.
