RCF SUB 705-AS II 15-inch Active Subwoofer

The RCF SUB 705-AS II is a 15-inch active subwoofer that comes equipped with a highly-efficient digital signal processor, a 3-inch voice coil, and a 1400w digital amplifier. This subwoofer makes a perfect companion for 12 or 15-inch satellite speakers.

The SUB 705-AS II provides you with a perfectly controlled bass response with superb low-frequency reproduction. RCF subwoofers give you incredible sonic abilities combined with reliability and excellent strength thanks to RCF’s year's long experience with active speaker design.

The 705 comes equipped with a Class-D amplifier as well as a highly powerful Digital Signal Processor that both work in harmony to give you an excellent bass-reflex that outputs the same SPL as a band-pass without damaging sound quality. The amplifier allows you to change the crossover frequency from 80Hz to 120Hz and also features a reverse phase button and LEDs for monitoring the system visually.

The SUB 705-AS II comes housed in a rugged birch plywood cabinet which is covered in a textured, heavy-duty epoxy which keeps itself protected against scuffs and bumps. The front of the subwoofer features a perforated hex grille with an arch inspired construction which provides additional resistance resulting in a better-balanced distribution for a more clear and concise sound.
