The Rane TTM57mkII is a 2-channel DJ battle/performance mixer that is tightly integrated with Serato DJ software and comes complete with a wealth of professional DJ controls and features including hot cue/sample trigger pads, EQ controls with frequency kill switches, dual USB ports for seamless back to back performances and DJ changeovers, and a familiar intuitive layout. This advanced DJ mixer is perfect for turntablists, performance DJs, and battle/scratch DJs as well as club/bar installations and will perfectly integrate with your home DJ setup.

Rane TTM57mkII Battle Mixer

Each channel is equipped with a range of audio sources including USB port A or B for digital DJs as well as a Phono/CD line input, and an Auxiliary line-level input which can be selected using the source switches at the top of the mixer. Both channels are also fitted with a dedicated low-pass/high-pass filter knob alongside a 3-band EQ with full-cut tone functions as well as frequency kill switches that eliminate a frequency band, pressing the shift button then the kill switches will latch on the frequency kill so you do not need to keep your finger held down. Also line level LED indicators to allow you to see when you’re overloading the mixer.

The TTM57mkII comes with eight performance pads, four per channel, that allow you to trigger hot cues and samples directly from the mixer. The pads are backlit to indicate which hot cue they trigger while the sampler comes with six trigger buttons alongside bank up and down for the multiple sample banks. There are also controls for directly controlling Serato DJ software from the mixer, these include a software FX on/off button with an FX knob parameter adjustment which lets you scroll through the various effects, press this knob in and it’ll select the effect you wish, when holding shift with this you can alter the beat timing of the effects.

A looping control allows you to set a loop length and then trigger an automatic loop, when pressed down you can access loop rolls for creating stutter effects while a library knob lets you scroll through your digital music collection, pressing this knob down will load a song into a channel while holding shift and using the library knob will move between songs or crates. Lastly, a transform joystick means you can quickly cut the audio from the channel, which is ideal for censoring a track or is useful when scratching, when transform is off the joystick doubles as a software control allowing you to access slip rolls, censor, DBL, and INT functions.

The mixer is equipped with extensive monitoring functions, so you can make sure you are always in beat with the track that is playing. Using the cue slider, you can cue either channel 1 or 2 and a headphone level control lets you set the ideal cue volume without needing to raise the channel gain knob. There is also a split cue button that when activated the cue’d channel gets sent to the left headphone cup with the main mix cue signal gets sent to the right headphone cup; this allows you to stay in perfect sync with the playing channel when cueing a new track. When the split cue button is off, you can blend between the stereo cut and main stereo mix, so you hear both simultaneously.

The rear of this mixer comes fitted with dual USB ports which allow for seamless back to back DJ sets as well as super-easy DJ changeovers. When connected to a computer audio and MIDI capabilities are automatically assigned so you can easily make use of Serato DJ or your preferred DJ application. Both ports support low-latency audio at 44.1, 48, or 96 kHz sample rates giving you pristine audio every time. Also found on the rear is an RCA send/return channel for your own FX processor, master XLR outputs, 6.3mm Jack booth monitor outputs, RCA session in/output, channel inputs for Auxiliary as well as Phono/CD totalling four inputs (two per channel), and a combo XLR/Jack microphone input.
