The Rane TTM56S is a classic 2-channel, full-featured DJ battle mixer that comes equipped with a wealth of professional DJ controls and tools including Rane’s patented magnetic faders, 3-band isolator EQs, reverse switch and contour controls for all channel faders, as well as a super-robust, road-worthy construction. The TTM56S inherits the same intuitive layout from the TTM54 and is a perfect mixer for scratch, battle, and performance DJs and makes an excellent addition to any home DJ setup as well as club and bar installations.

Each channel comes equipped with a 3-band isolator EQ controls that let you smoothly blend between tracks with fluidity, when turned to the right you raise a frequency bands volume by +6dB and when turned to left you can completely kill the frequency band; the EQ comes with an in/out switch that enables you to place the EQ just after the input or just before it gets outputted to the main mix. Each channel also features a gain control for setting the perfect volume as well as an L/R pan knob for creating cool panning effects while source select switches at the top of the mixer allow you to select any of the four inputs.

The TTM56S battle mixer comes fitted with the proprietary Rane magnetic faders which are fast, highly accurate and have a long lifespan, perfect for the demanding needs of professional DJs. The fader design makes use of non-contact technology that was previously used for aerospace and industrial applications and offers no travel noise or sound bleeds ever and precisely translates hand movements into level control. Both channel faders and the crossfader are all magnetic, easy to clean, and easily interchangeable should they ever become damaged.

There are extensive fader controls which allow you to set up the mixer exactly how you’d like it, the continuously adjustable contour controls give you ergonomic versatility while a hamster switch enables you to swap channels over for right and left-hand scratching and cool effects so whether you’re cutting tracks with rapid fader movements or prefer slowly blending your songs together you can quickly set up the mixer for just how it needs to be for your mixes.

When paired with a Rane SL3 or SL2 audio interface this battle mixer has plug’n’play DVS capabilities which allows you to access all the benefits of a DVS setup and gives you the freedom to utilise your entire digital music collection as well as the added creative options that DVS vinyl systems offer. When using a DVS setup, you get an intuitive system that perfectly replicates the real feel usability of traditional vinyl and gives you the ability to scratch and perform without any of the downsides of vinyl.
