The Radial Catapult RX4 is a passive audio snake that can transport four analogue audio channels via normal Cat 5 or Cat 6 Ethernet cable. The Catapult RX4 function as a standard four-channel analogue audio snake, allowing you to transport mic or line-level signals from one location to another without signal loss, noise, or interference, and without the requirement for digital audio conversion.
The Catapult system is unique in that it uses Cat 5 Ethernet wire, which is widely available, lightweight, and affordable. Simply connect a shielded Cat 5 cable between any two Catapult modules, and they will use the cable's analogue conductors to deliver four balanced audio lines to any destination.
