The Launchkey Mini 37 Mk4 is a compact and versatile Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) controller. It includes three octaves of synth-action minikeys and 16 proprietary FSR pads for activities such as finger drumming and clip launching. This advanced technology provides novel methods to augment your creativity within your DAW, utilising hardware synthesisers, or on your iPhone and iPad. The enhanced Chord, Scale, and Arpeggio Modes facilitate staying inside the designated key and enable more nuanced expression, offering comprehensive feedback via the high-definition OLED display.

The Launchkey Mini 37 Mk4 effortlessly interfaces with leading DAWs during initial setup, such as Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studio, and Ardour. This integration provides a hardware-driven workflow that allows for full control over transport operations, timeline navigation, mixing and EQ, clip launching, and instrument and effect parameters. In Ableton Live's Session View or Logic's Live Loops, the 16 drum pads serve as Launchpad-style clip launchers equipped with RGB backlights that synchronise with the visual display on your screen.

The Launchkey Mini 37 MK4 controller incorporates built-in creative tools that seamlessly integrate with your DAW, hardware synthesisers and mobile devices. The Scale Modes enable the user to restrict the keyboard to a selection of 30 specific scales, so preventing the production of erroneous notes or limiting the keyboard to only the white keys. The Fixed Chord mode activates complete chords with a single key, while the new Chord Maps feature allows you to generate expressive progressions with the pads. The enhanced arpeggiator facilitates the manipulation of your sequences, promoting a seamless flow of creativity.

Incorporated into the controller are velocity-sensitive FSR drum pads that are designed for finger-drummers. These drum pads also have polyphonic aftertouch. Every pad is fitted with a distinct radial sensor that improves sensitivity and consistency, resulting in more precise performances. The pads can also be configured to activate chords or individual notes using polyphonic aftertouch.

Custom Modes provide users with the ability to utilise Launchkey's controls in a flexible manner. By utilising the complimentary Components program within your web browser, you have the ability to customise the controls to align with your specific preferences for both software and hardware. Save up to four personalised mappings for the pads and encoders, and quickly retrieve them from the hardware to transmit your selected notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.

The Launchkey Mini 37 MK4 features a 3.5 mm MIDI output that allows for direct connection to hardware synthesisers via a basic adapter, eliminating the requirement for a DAW. By utilising components and custom mappings, you have the ability to directly manage all fundamental operations via the keyboard. Additionally, it operates on USB power and is class compliant, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of music production applications for iPhone and iPad, including the complimentary Novation Launchpad app.

All the necessary components are included to allow you to begin creating music right away. The package includes Ableton Live 12 Lite, a software that enables you to record and perform using a maximum of eight tracks of MIDI or audio. Additionally, it provides a collection of instruments, effects, and creative tools that easily connect with Launchkey. In addition, you will obtain a variety of high-quality effects and sounds from Novation and Focusrite, which are designed for professional studio use.
