The Launchkey Mini 25 MK4 integrates seamlessly with all major DAWs right out of the box, including Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Reason Studios, Reaper, FL Studio, and Ardour. This integration offers a hardware-powered workflow with full control over transport functions, timeline navigation, mixing and EQ, clip launching, and instrument and effect parameters. In Ableton Live’s Session View or Logic’s Live Loops, the 16 drum pads serve as Launchpad-style clip launchers with RGB backlights that sync perfectly with what you see on screen.

The creative tools on the Launchkey Mini 25 Mk4 are built into the hardware itself, ensuring consistent functionality across your DAW, hardware synths, or mobile devices. Scale Modes let you lock your keyboard to one of 30 scales to avoid wrong notes or map everything to just the white keys. Fixed Chord mode triggers full chords from a single key, and new Chord Maps enable you to create expressive progressions from the pads. The updated arpeggiator makes it easier than ever to manipulate your sequences for endless creative inspiration.

For finger-drummers, the Launchkey keyboard features patented, velocity-sensitive FSR drum pads with polyphonic aftertouch. Each pad is equipped with a unique radial sensor that enhances sensitivity and consistency, allowing for tighter performances. These pads can also be set to trigger chords or individual notes with polyphonic aftertouch.

Custom Modes offer flexible control over your setup. Using the free Components software, you can configure the controls to suit your needs, storing up to four custom mappings for both pads and encoders. You can then recall these mappings instantly from the hardware to send your preferred notes, MIDI CCs, or program changes.

The Launchkey Mini 25 includes a 3.5 mm MIDI output for connecting directly to your hardware synthesizer with a simple adapter, requiring no DAW. Coupled with components and custom mappings, you can manage all essential functions directly from the keyboard. It is class compliant and fully compatible with many music-making apps for iPhone and iPad, including the free Novation Launchpad app.

Included with the Launchkey Mini 25 MK4 keyboard controller is everything you need to start making music right away. Ableton Live 12 Lite allows you to record and perform with up to eight tracks of MIDI or audio and comes with a suite of instruments, effects, and creative tools that integrate perfectly with Launchkey. Additionally, you receive a selection of studio-grade effects and sounds from Novation and Focusrite.

Cubase LE 14 is also now included and is a powerful DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) designed for aspiring music producers, songwriters, and audio engineers. With support for up to 16 audio tracks, 24 MIDI tracks, and 8 virtual instrument tracks, it provides the tools needed to craft professional-quality music from the ground up.
