Meet the flagship 16-voice polyphonic synthesiser from Novation. The Novation Summit Hybrid Synthesizer is a flexible bi-timbral synth with 16 polyphonic voices and a 61-note keybed.
The Novation Summit works as well in the studio as it does live on stage. The Summit Synthesizer is built on a trio of FPGA New Oxford Oscillators per voice. The oscillators' versatility allows for subtractive, wavetable, and FM synthesis. It also has two analogue filters, which were influenced by the OSCar from the Oxford Synthesizer Company.
The Summit has a variety of settings, such as an analogue filter, analogue mixer, and analogue distortion. It also includes high-quality FX, including reverb, delay, and chorus. Because of the multi-timbral construction, you may separate and layer sounds for unique sound creation. With Novation's most flexible synthesiser to date, you can create anything from leads, arps, and pads to soundbeds and beyond. The most recent release from Novation Components includes a Wavetable Editor, unique Noisia material, and NASA-themed sounds.

Firmware Version 2.0 Update
The latest update for Summit and Peak from Novation is the biggest one so far. Firmware v2.0 adds important changes and a lot of new features, such as stereo controls, modulation, randomness, and effects, which give you powerful tools to shape your sound.
With the new stereo controls, you can now make soundscapes that are bigger, wider, and more complex. With the addition of Chorus Modes, Flanger, Phlanger, new effects modulation destinations, and Lo-Fi delay, you can discover a lot of new tones through a range of effects improvements.
Features
- Stereo - New spread modes, voice panning, and mod matrix panning allow stereo sound design. Create larger, richer soundscapes.
- Modulation and unpredictability - New mod destinations, noise as a mod source, and LFO 3 and 4 parameters enable deeper, more experimental sounds. Animate Envelopes and Arpeggiator Chance enhance performance creativity.
- Effects - Chorus Modes, Flanger, and Phlanger create new sounds. More effects modulation locations enable experimental sound design. A vintage-sounding Lo-Fi delay mode is available.
