The CR5-XBT speakers offer incredible sonic performance as well as flexibility. Mackie has cleverly designed this to cater to a wide range of content creators. If you are a YouTuber and want decent speakers for basic audio editing, these will perform well. Likewise, if you are a music producer looking for a pair of cost-effective, yet high-performance monitors for music production and mixing these are a good place to start.
The Bluetooth functionality also makes these great for just general listing. Additionally, if you are a vinyl and turntable enthusiast, then these speakers will look and sound great in that environment as well.
Made with convenience in mind the CR5-XBT speakers are designed to be adaptable to a variety of audio requirements. The 5-inch woofer is responsible for providing warm, distortion-free low frequencies. The powered and passive speaker design is customisable in that you can alternate which speaker is the left and right monitor. Great for when you may be limited for space and power inputs.
The inputs of the monitor can all be found on the rear of the unit allowing you to keep your space tidy. You get two TRS and two RCA inputs so you can connect to an audio interface for to a record player for general listening. The mini-jack is great for connecting a smart device for instant audio playback. However, we recommend that you use the Bluetooth function as you don't need to worry about extra cables.
