The Mackie DRM215 is an active professional loudspeaker that comes equipped with a 15-inch woofer alongside a 1.4-inch titanium high-frequency compression driver and delivers class-leading power thanks to a super efficient Class-D amplifier with next-generation protection and Power Factor Correction technology for the best performance possible.

An Advanced Impulse Digital Signal Processor gives you acoustic correction as well as time-alignment using precision tuned FIR filters which offer a crystal clear punchy sound that is typically reserved for huge touring systems. A DRM Control Dashboard provides you with a full-colour high-contrast display on the rear of the speaker and allows you to set up rapidly. Custom tuned transducers are housed inside of a tour-grade plywood cabinet which is designed for a consistent performance even during the most demanding of situations.

Mackie’s advanced filtering technology takes speaker processing to the next level. The Advanced Impulse DSP works to remove all of the anomalies that contribute to a squelchy or mushy low-frequency response. The DSP effectively makes the drivers ‘invisible’ and output nothing except a perfect, clean sound. Advanced Impulse technology works to intelligently and effectively employ the benefits of FIR filtering and eliminates undesired acoustic anomalies across the entire dispersion zone as well as frequency range and time domain. The DRM215 achieves this by measuring the negative frequency response and time domain impacts that each transducer produces, it then reverses and corrects those anomalies before the signal hits the speaker, the results is a crystal clear sound that is perfectly smooth.

The rear of the speaker features the DRM Control Dashboard, a big, bright full-colour display that is easy to read and provides you with unmatched visual feedback concerning the levels, adjustments, and much more. This allows you to quickly set up when time is limited and make changes to your sound on the fly without any hassle. Large green level maters will enable you to clearly see when you have a signal and when you’re clipping. A large single rotary control allows you to make adjustments to your sound, spin the control to select what you need, push it in, and set your sound as you please. The DRM Control Dashboard allows you to set 3-band parametric EQ settings, venue-specific voicing modes, variable crossover settings, alignment delay, and other essential configurations.
