Korg Wavestate MKII Wave Sequencing Synthesizer

The Korg 37-key Wavestate mkII draws on the tradition of Korg's iconic Wavestation with a reinvented, compact synth designed to suit today's demanding musicians and producers. The MkII version introduces a new design and increases polyphony to 96 stereo voices. It is fully compatible with the original Wavestate's sounds and samples.

Wave Sequencing was invented by Korg's renowned Wavestation, which turned unprocessed recordings into sounds that had never been heard before. Wave Sequencing was further enhanced by the flagship OASYS, Kronos, and Nautilus keyboards, which built on its distinctive palette of lush, changing pads and driving rhythms. Korg is pleased to announce the updated Wavestate mkII, which has 96 stereo voices and better polyphony. With many top-notch third-party libraries, it is fully compatible with sounds and samples for the original Wavestate, Wavestate SE, and Wavestate Native software. The compact form-factor, with 37 full-size keys, nonetheless transports effortlessly and fits perfectly into any stage, studio, or desktop arrangement. Updated sounds and software keep it current.
