The NTS-2 synthesiser kit expands on the popularity of the NTS-1 synthesiser kit with this 4-channel oscilloscope and book combo, making it the ideal Xmas or Birthday present for any synthesiser fan. The NTS-2 is a one-stop shop for any synth enthusiast, combining a powerful oscilloscope, an FFT/spectrum analyzer, a dual waveform generator, and an internal tuner. The NTS-2 is a DIY kit that can be set up and ready to use in 10 minutes - no soldering necessary!
Long used to display voltage signals as waveforms, oscilloscopes provide quick visual feedback for your input signals. With four channels available, you may see up to four transmissions at the same time. You may also compare and overlay the four signals. The oscilloscope has several display settings to select from, each with a sharp and colourful colour screen. It also has dedicated buttons and clickable encoder knobs for quick and easy configuration and parameter navigation.
Spectrum analyser in real time with FFT mode
The NTS-2 has an effective real-time spectrum analyser in addition to the oscilloscope. The FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) mode allows you to study waveforms and signals that are represented by the sum of sine and cosine signals. This one-of-a-kind spectrum analysis is fantastic for sound design, allowing you to observe tonal shifts easily.
Precision tuner and dual waveform generator
The NTS-2's Wave Generator mode, equipped with two oscillators (each with separate outputs), allows you to generate a broad range of waveforms. There are sine, square, triangle, sawtooth, pulse, and noise waveforms provided, with the possibility to adjust the shape and phase of each waveform for further versatility. The various waveforms can be used as control voltage sources or within the audio range. They can also be activated as one-time impulses or configured to cycle continually. The waveform generator's versatility allows you to utilise the numerous waveforms as LFOs, envelopes, trigger control voltage generators, and even as a sound source.
