This 18-inch powered subwoofer is designed to exploit JBL's most cutting-edge acoustic advances fully. At maximum volume, a next-generation speaker powered by an ultra-efficient Class D amplifier offers crisp, defined bass with smooth low-frequency extension.
The PRX918XLF's class-leading DSP package includes a 6-band parametric EQ for system tuning and subtle tone control, as well as a lowpass filter and 20ms delay, which can be accessed via the onboard LCD or the JBL Pro Connect app.
The JBL Pro Connect app gives you comprehensive hardware and DSP control over up to ten speakers; it integrates with JBL AEON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 systems, and it gives you access to app-only features like speaker snapshots and grouping.
The PRX918XLF is built to resist the rigours of the road, with an 18mm birch cabinet and optimised bracing for smooth low-frequency response and increased longevity. Like every other JBL product, everything is strengthened by industry-leading test and validation methods and guaranteed by a seven-year warranty.

Acoustic Designs
The PRX918XLF is engineered for superior acoustic performance from the cone to the cabinet. A ferrite magnet in the 918SG woofer produces a smooth, natural bass tone, while an FEA flared port design eliminates air noise and distortion. All this adds to a clear, accurate, and powerful sound at any volume.
Performance
PRX900 systems easily support extensive performance areas with high power and performance requirements. The PRX918XLF, powered by 2,000W (peak) Class D power amps, delivers bass with clarity and definition at maximum volume. Inductors with excellent power efficiency and low total harmonic distortion are used, and low-noise, low-distortion input gain staging optimises range and headroom for a wide variety of gain requirements. High-quality DACs and ADCs provide near-lossless audio conversion. System noise is nearly nonexistent, with a full-bandwidth CMRR (Common Mode Rejection Ratio) of more than 55 dB and a THD (total harmonic distortion) rating of 32 dB.
Class-Leading DSP

Scalable and adaptable

The JBL Pro Connect app includes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology for system control of up to ten speakers and line integration with JBL AEON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 loudspeakers—access entire DSP operations from the app anytime, including app-only features such as speaker snapshots and groupings.
Tough and roadworthy
The components of the PRX900 are contained in sturdy, lightweight cabinets that maximise acoustic performance and longevity. The PRX918XLF enclosure is made of 18mm birch, and features improved bracing to smooth out low-frequency response. Duraflex coatings are incredibly durable.
