JBL 306P MkIII Powered 6-inch Two-Way Studio Monitor

The JBL 306P MkIII is a powerful and flexible studio monitor designed for producers, engineers and content creators working in home studios, project rooms and creator spaces. As part of the redesigned JBL 3 Series MkIII range, it combines a new acoustic system with improved amplification and flexible room correction.

Its 6.5-inch low-frequency driver features a stiffer cone material, upgraded magnet assembly and aluminium shorting ring, helping to improve power handling while reducing distortion. The front-firing JBL Slipstream port provides cleaner, more predictable bass response, particularly when working with monitors positioned on desks or close to walls.

At the top end, a redesigned high-frequency driver works with JBL’s Image Control Waveguide to provide a wide listening area and consistent stereo imaging. The new Class D amplifier delivers higher output, more headroom and lower noise.

Getting the 306P MkIII working in your room is straightforward. Four one-touch EQ controls provide 81 corrective EQ combinations for adjusting the response to suit speaker placement, wall distance and high- or low-frequency requirements.

Balanced Neutrik combo inputs, selectable +4 dBu / -10 dBV sensitivity and eight M4 mounting points add further flexibility, making the 306P MkIII suitable for everything from a conventional stereo setup to larger surround and immersive monitoring systems.
