JBL 305P MkIII Powered 5-inch Two-Way Studio Monitor

The JBL 305P MkIII brings a major overhaul to JBL’s popular 3 Series, delivering accurate, adaptable monitoring for home studios, project rooms and content creation setups. Its redesigned acoustic system combines a new high-frequency driver with JBL’s Image Control Waveguide for a wide, consistent listening area and detailed stereo imaging.

The redesigned 5-inch low-frequency driver uses a stiffer cone, upgraded magnet assembly and aluminium shorting ring to improve power handling and reduce distortion. A front-firing JBL Slipstream port also helps deliver cleaner, more predictable bass response when the monitors are positioned on desks, near walls or in compact rooms.

The 305P MkIII uses a new Class D amplifier for higher output, increased headroom and lower noise, while balanced Neutrik combo inputs and selectable +4 dBu / -10 dBV sensitivity make it easy to integrate with a range of studio equipment and playback systems.

Four one-touch EQ controls provide 81 corrective EQ combinations, allowing you to compensate for speaker placement, wall distance and high- or low-frequency response without the need for calibration software or additional measurement equipment.

With eight M4 mounting points and consistent voicing across the 3 Series MkIII range, the 305P MkIII can also form part of 2.1, surround and immersive monitoring systems.
