The HK Audio CT115 is a passive loudspeaker that delivers a full-range sound with an impressive sound pressure level as well as a broad frequency response that allows it to be used on its own or as part of a PA system. This speaker is perfect for a range of applications thanks to the dual purpose housing and can be used as a front of house speaker, on-stage monitor, or as a near field reinforcement speaker. It is ideal for mobile DJs, schools and colleges, music venues, club and bar venues, conferences, events productions, and theatres.

The CT115 loudspeaker comes fitted with a sizeable 15-inch neodymium low-frequency woofer as well as a 1.4-inch high-frequency tweeter that features a 3-inch voice coil. Both drivers work in perfect harmony to deliver a full-range sound with a broad frequency response that ranges from 55 Hz – 19 kHz. The drivers also give you an impressive sound pressure level that is able to reach 134dB, perfect for medium to large sized venues and audiences of up to 350 people. As this speaker is a passive model, you will need to be connected to an amplifier or active speaker, when connected; this speaker is able to handle 1200w of power.

The high-frequency horn can be rotated so you can position the speaker in vertical or horizontal configurations and features Boundary Element Method for precise directivity and the most optimal clustering without phase cancellation. A ‘Shape’ switch allows you to set the EQ for either monitoring or FOH applications and ensures you’ll always get the best sound possible for your situation. The CT115’s rear panel provides you with two Speakon NL4 audio connections that allow you to connect from an amplifier or active speaker as well as link multiple speakers together for daisy chained PA systems.

This speaker comes with a heavy-duty, highly-durable enclosure that features an 18mm thick Birch plywood construction and is finished with textured black polyurethane lacquer that prevents impacts from damaging the integrity of the cabinet. A large all-metal grille covers and protects the drivers and is backed with acoustically transparent foam that stops dust and dirt from entering the system. Three integrated ergonomic handles allow you to easily transport the speaker from gig to gig while two M10 threaded bushings and two Aeroquip fly tracks let you suspend the speaker if needed.
