The FBT Ventis range has been built on the foundations of quality and flexibility. The Ventis 108a is an active reinforcement speaker that uses an innovative combination of B&C compression drivers as well as FBT’s long excursion woofers which result in an amazing sound that cannot be compared to any other.
The Ventis 108a is a 900w active reinforcement speaker that uses a 2-way bi-amplified bass reflex design and 8-inch woofer and 1-inch driver which have been custom made for FBT. It comes in a scratch resistant 15mm thick birch plywood housing and features a full-grille front which has been backed with a specially treated acoustic cloth that provides you with the sound characteristics that make FBT a well-loved brand. To ensure you always get accurate sound coverage, the Ventis 108a uses fully rotatable constant directivity horns.
The Ventis 108a features a highly powerful Digital Signal Processor (DSP) with six highly versatile EQ presets which have been expertly crafted by FBT’s audio engineers. There is a preset for every style of performance and makes sure you get a great sound every time.
The presets consist of:
- Original/Live – Gives you the renowned smooth FBT sound.
- Vocal – A special equaliser that maximises speech intelligibility.
- DJ – Designed to keep energy high and your audience dancing.
- Touring – Provides you with the reliability and roar of the industry’s best touring systems.
- Loudness – The ultimate preset for low to medium volume.
- Warm – A unique preset that emphasises full-bodied low to mid frequencies.
