At the heart of the RP-5000 MK4 is a newly developed direct drive motor producing a powerful 2.5 kg/cm of torque. Carefully calibrated motor characteristics minimise wow and flutter, delivering smooth, consistent playback for mixing and scratching alike.

A precision die-cast aluminium platter pairs with a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm, complete with hydraulic lift, anti-skating and a universal SME cartridge connection. This proven tonearm design offers excellent tracking and compatibility with a wide range of cartridges.

DJs benefit from three playback speeds of 33 ⅓, 45 and 78 rpm, alongside adjustable pitch ranges of ±8%, ±16% or ±50%. A smooth clickless pitch fader, pitch reset button and clearly marked tempo scale make it easy to stay locked in, even during high-pressure club sets. A reverse function adds further creative flexibility for battle and performance DJs.

Button placement has been carefully considered to support efficient workflow, with lots of clearance around the tonearm for confident, uninterrupted performance.
