PLAYdifferently MODEL 1.4 4-Channel Mixer

The PLAYdifferently MODEL 1.4 is a top-of-the-range 4-channel mixer that includes high-quality components, analogue circuitry and intuitive controls. The mixer features six stereo channels, low and high pass filters, smooth 60mm studio-grade faders, low and high pass filters, precision sculpting EQ, phono preamps, two stereo sends and returns, dual headphone cueing, 3-band master EQ and balanced mix bus.

The custom TKD 60mm heavy duty faders are smooth, precise and designed to be long-lasting. The SCULPT section includes Frequency control and Cut/Boost knobs, allowing for more accurate sound adjustment.

The two stereo sends are in the form of AUX controls that send the channel signal to the outputs for use with external effects units. The two FX stereo returns include low cut filter, overdrive, TRIM to adjust the return signal, CUE for routing Cue A and Cue B and Master Filter routing. Visual feedback of the signal level is also available for each return in the form of Metering.

The Master Section includes 3-Band Master EQ, Record Out, Zero Crossing Detection and 2-Band Booth EQ. The dual independent cues provide an uninterrupted transition between artists and help artists collaborate.

The PLAYdifferently MODEL 1.4 offers flexible connectivity options including a power supply input, RCA inputs, ¼-inch TRS inputs and outputs, XLR master out and DSUB input and output. Multiple mixers can be linked to the MODEL 1.4 through Mixer Link connections. These dedicated inputs and outputs ensure an even mix of the PA and Booth monitors and allow interaction to be effortless. The unit incorporates a fully balanced mix bus which is usually found on extremely high-end consoles. It is used for lowering noise, crosstalk, improved dynamic range and hum rejection.

The MODEL 1.4 produces studio-quality sound, making it an excellent accompaniment for home studio setups or taking it on the road.
