Every component of the Otrofon Concorde MKII ELITE was designed with passion, cutting-edge technology, and meticulous attention to detail to provide you with an unrivalled experience with the music you love.
The Concorde MK2 Elite has a new, specially moulded stylus body with genuine gold plating, adding luxury to the iconic Concorde design. A Nude Elliptical diamond is encased in gold and set on a sturdy Aluminium cantilever. The Nude Elliptical diamond stylus, which is typically used in HiFi cartridges, produces a sound that is both powerful and detailed, providing a stunning degree of live performance. The addition of a Nude Elliptical diamond allows for a lower moving mass, resulting in a more detailed and better sound quality. The Nude Elliptical diamond's tiny design allows it to follow the groove oscillations more precisely, extract more delicate features, and monitor even the highest frequency information.
Cantilever and Coil System
The Rigid 750 m Aluminum-Magnesium cantilever, created particularly for the Concorde ELITE, ensures that the stylus picks up groove vibrations with a stable and accurate tracing performance and provides the optimal contact between the stylus and armature.
A specifically constructed Coil System in the armature transmits the diamond's movements to give an optimised output. The ELITE's innovative Coil System produces a strong, full-bodied sound of excellent quality and output.
Rubber Suspension
To achieve the essential features for an amazing performance of the cartridge, a novel rubber compound composition was designed specifically for the Concorde ELITE. With careful attention paid to reducing excessive brightness, the broader, richer sound brings the song to life.
