The Denon DJ PRIME 4 G2 takes everything that made the original PRIME 4 such a popular choice for professional DJs and pushes it even further. Built for DJs who want the freedom to perform without being tied to a laptop, this new Prime 4 delivers a complete four-deck standalone DJ experience with powerful performance tools, advanced Stems control, professional connectivity and an impressive range of creative features.

Whether you are playing a packed club, mobile event, wedding or private party, the PRIME 4 G2 gives you the flexibility to build your set around the way you actually want to perform. With four independent decks, a large 10.1-inch touchscreen and full-size 8-inch jog wheels, everything you need is right in front of you.

A New Way to Perform

One of the biggest additions to the system is its multi-zone MPC-style performance pads. Rather than simply triggering a single function, these expressive pads allow you to combine multiple functions and parameters, giving you much more control over your performance. Use them to trigger Hot Cues, manipulate FX, control lighting and add dynamic elements to your sets without taking your hands away from the decks.

Additionally, it also brings powerful onboard Stems control directly into the standalone system. Dedicated Acapella and Instrumental buttons let you instantly isolate the vocal or instrumental elements of a track, while Stems pad mode and Stem Level EQ give you even more control over individual elements of your music. Add dedicated Stem effects and you can remix, layer and transform tracks in real time, opening up a whole new level of creativity.

Powerful FX at Your Fingertips

The Prime 4 G2 gives you an extensive selection of effects without making the workflow complicated. Two dynamic internal Main FX modules provide access to 25+ effects, with toggle paddles and dedicated Favorite FX buttons making it quick and easy to reach the effects you use most.

There are also 10 reactive Touch FX with latch, four Sweep FX with dedicated controls on each mixer channel and Fader FX that can be triggered directly from the channel faders. This gives you multiple ways to introduce movement and energy into your mixes, whether you're making subtle transitions or going all-out for the drop.

Professional DJ Control

The full-size 8-inch high-resolution jog wheels give a familiar, professional feel, while built-in displays show useful information including Stem status and cue position. Combined with premium dual-rail faders, the result is a system that feels instantly at home in a professional DJ environment.

At the centre of the system is a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen with gesture support, providing a clear view of your music library, waveforms, settings and performance controls. The advanced on-screen mixer section also gives you detailed control over things like crossfader assignment, FX routing, channel inputs, microphone routing, Fader Start and software EQ.

Built-In Lighting Control

The PRIME 4 G2 isn't just designed to control your music. With Engine Lighting powered by SoundSwitch built in, you can also take control of your lighting directly from the system. The physical DMX output allows compatible lighting equipment to be connected directly, helping you create a more immersive show without needing a separate lighting controller.

For mobile DJs and event performers in particular, this can make a huge difference by bringing music and lighting control together in one setup.

Connect Your Music Your Way

With built-in Wi-Fi you gain access to supported music streaming services directly from the unit, including Beatport, TIDAL, SoundCloud GO+, Apple Music and Amazon Music Unlimited, with Spotify support scheduled for early 2027.

There is also a dedicated Bluetooth Deck, allowing you to connect a smartphone or tablet and mix audio directly into your performance. Three Playlist Bank buttons provide quick access to your favourite playlists, helping you get to the music you need without interrupting your set.

And if you prefer to work with your own music library, the PRIME 4 G2 provides plenty of physical media options, including two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, an SD card slot and an internal hard drive bay.

Built for Clubs, Events and Mobile DJs

Connectivity is a major strength of the unit, with balanced XLR Main, Booth and Zone outputs providing professional audio connections for a wide range of setups. The dedicated Zone output can even be used to send a separate deck or playlist to another audio system, making it particularly useful for events with multiple areas.

You also get two stereo Line/Phono inputs, allowing you to connect external players or turntables, while the two microphone inputs feature 3-band EQ, Echo, Reverb, Talkover and Anti-Feedback. The second microphone input can also be switched to a line input for connecting an instrument or another audio source.

Standalone Now, Software-Ready for the Future

While PRIME 4 G2 is designed to give you everything you need for standalone DJing, it is also built with the future in mind. OmniSource capability, scheduled for late 2026, will allow DJs to seamlessly mix between standalone sources and computer-based DJ software, with support planned for Serato, Algoriddim and VirtualDJ.
