
Denon DJ has released an all-new firmware in the form of version 1.3.2, following a series of key feature suggestions from DJs across the globe. This latest firmware update includes not only new features, but also bug fixes and improvements. Denon DJs eagerly anticipated Prime 4 had been a talking point amongst DJs, stores and users all over the world, and this new firmware suggests Denon DJ is actively listening and taking on board all feedback.
New Features
The new features within this latest update include the addition of a new Horizontal Waveform mode, an added Console Status Bar with Global setting and record capability, and added user-modifiable Nudge Sensitivity.
Fixes and Improvements
The BPM detection has improved through the BPM Metadata being trusted and imported to create beat grid. An issue has been addressed where some tracks displayed .1 second until the platter was moved or the track was played. Finally, the additional speed and operating efficiency have vastly improved.
