ADAM Audio Announces their brand new A Series Studio Monitor Speakers

7 April 2022

ADAM Audio announces the launch of their brand new A Series monitor speakers, the successor series to the multi-award-winning and long-selling AX Series loudspeakers.

The ADAM Audio A Series monitors can be controlled remotely and in real-time, delivering highly accurate, transparent sound. The Series includes five models, A4V, A7V, A44H, A77H, and A8H, that can be used in a variety of professional and home studio setups with broadcast, fixed-installation, 3D, immersive, and home audio settings. In addition, Adam's AX Speakers can now be tuned to the room and the listener's ears thanks to advancements like HPS waveguide rotation and DSP-based room correction and voicings.

The powerful A4V is best suited to smaller studio settings, while the A7V builds on the success of ADAM Audio's most renowned monitor speaker, the A7X. ADAM Audio is breaking new ground in this price range with the other three new monitors. The A44H offers music producers and studio engineers a low-profile alternative to the A7V with comparable performance characteristics. The horizontally oriented A44H, with a 19-inch width, may fit in a regular rack shelf or be installed above or below a screen. The real three-way A77H is a loudspeaker that capitalises on the newest ADAM Audio technology to create a rich, expansive, enveloping sound. It is an enhanced successor to the A77X. Finally, the A8H is the apex of the A Series, a three-way design with a new form factor that produces the exact and analytical sound necessary for critical-listening conditions.

"For many years, Adam Audio's R&D team has been working behind closed doors to build this third generation A Series range," says Christian Hellinger, CEO of ADAM Audio. "We used top engineering methods, contemporary materials technology, and powerful DSP to produce the new A Series, a line of studio monitors with astonishing clarity and minimal distortion that use new woofers and midrange drivers."

Most importantly for end-users, the A Series speakers are intended to be flexible to changing needs, tastes, situations and environments. For example, to compensate for faulty room acoustics, you may use the A Control programme to send complex filters straight to an integrated platform aboard the displays.

This integrated platform supports Sonarworks filters from the industry's top third-party software developer. You may calibrate your speakers for a new environment or changing tastes by using Sonarworks SoundID Reference and a measuring mic. Upgradable software enables these monitors to develop, allowing consumers to benefit from future ADAM Audio developments. An extended five-year guarantee and post-warranty support assure that these monitors will continue to function well for many years.

The A4V and A7V two-way monitors will be shipping in June, whilst the A44H, A77H, and A8H's will be available towards the end of summer 2022.
