Alto Professional TX212 600w 12-Inch Active Loudspeaker

The Alto Professional TX212 is part of the new TX series and is a 600w active loudspeaker that delivers an impressive acoustic performance and has been inspired by the widely popular Truesonic range of speakers. This speaker comes with a sleek yet highly rugged construction and makes use of a newly designed horn that offers a broader sound dispersion. The TX212 speaker is perfect for a range of applications including mobile entertainers, club and bar venues, live events, music venues, schools and colleges, and theatres.

The TX212 comes equipped with a 12-inch woofer alongside a 1-inch neodymium compression driver that both work in perfect unison to give you a smooth, full range sound with a frequency response that ranges from 70 Hz – 20 kHz while a 600w Class D amplifier offers a bi-amplified design with a precise crossover point at 2.5 kHz. This speaker is fitted with a newly designed directivity horn that gives you a broader sound dispersion so you can be sure that your whole venue gets an even sound. The TX212 can be used as either a main speaker or as an on-stage monitor thanks to the angled enclosure and excellent sound.

The rear of the speaker features a balanced combo XLR/¼-inch TRS input alongside an XLR link output and an IEC power input as well as controls for volume, a power on/off switch, ground-lift switch and a contour switch that allows you to apply a small amount of equalisation if you require. To prevent the speaker from overloading it features an integrated analog limiter/compressor that works to eliminate distortion when your signal is too hot.

The injection-molded polypropylene enclosure is super-robust and has been designed for rigorous everyday use and has a sleek full grille that protects the woofers from any damage. Rubber feet are in position, so when you do use the speaker as a stage monitor, you won’t scratch the housing and two handles make transporting the speaker to and from gigs an easy task.
