The Akai Professional MPC One Gen 2 is the latest evolution of the iconic MPC workflow, delivering powerful standalone music production in a compact desktop format. Designed for beatmakers, producers and creators who want the legendary MPC experience without the need for a computer, the MPC One G2 combines classic hands-on control with next-generation performance.
Taking inspiration from the distinctive blue finishes of the legendary MPC1000 and MPC4000, the controller pairs vintage MPC styling with the modern production tools demanded by today's musicians. Its intuitive layout, responsive multi-touch display and iconic MPC pads make sampling, sequencing, beat creation and song arrangement faster and more enjoyable than ever.
Powered by the latest MPC3 operating system and a next-generation 8-core G2 processor, the MPC One G2 delivers four times the processing power of the previous generation. This substantial performance upgrade allows producers to work on larger projects, enjoy faster loading times, use more plugins and audio tracks, and take full advantage of advanced standalone production features without slowing down their workflow.
MPC3 introduces a streamlined track-based workflow and Linear Arranger, giving users greater flexibility when building complete songs from start to finish.
The MPC One G2 is equally at home in standalone and hybrid studio environments. USB-C connectivity enables multichannel audio and expanded MIDI communication over a single cable, making integration with a computer-based setup simple when required, while preserving the speed and focus of hardware-based music creation.
