The Roland Rubix24 is a high-resolution audio interface that provides you with the perfect balance of high-fidelity audio with a compact, robust construction and an affordable price tag, all crucial features for modern musicians and DJ/producers. The interface supports high-resolution 24-bit/192kHz audio giving you a crystal clear and highly detailed sound which has been carefully built to provide you with extremely low noise from input to output while the universal USB support lets you connect to PC’s, Mac’s, and even iPads allowing you to work seamlessly inside your Digital Audio Workstation. This interface is perfect for any DJ/producer or musician looking for an audio interface that is both highly-portable and offers a crystal clear sound.

The Rubix-24 is equipped with two combo XLR/¼-inch TRS Jack inputs with dual microphone pre-amplifiers that have been designed for low-noise and high-definition offering a clean and transparent sound with loads of headroom so you can capture all the subtle nuances and details of whatever instrument you’re recording. The versatile combo inputs let you connect a broad range of audio sources without the need for special adapters or cables. There are also four individual outputs that enable you to create sophisticated routing options and monitoring setups; this means you can send a click track to your performers, route signals to external equipment, or even set up an on-stage monitor. There isn’t much that is more important than sound quality when it comes to audio interfaces, and you should not need to sacrifice sound quality to get an affordable interface that can be taken anywhere. The Rubix 24 gives you a clean and highly detailed sound that features acoustically transparent low-noise microphone pre-amplifiers that support 24-bit/192kHz audio and is built from super-robust metal with a compact, low-noise design that can easily be slid into a bag or flight case. The extensive shielding and expertly built ground lifts make sure you always get a decent sound no matter where you are.

Highly dynamic audio sources such as vocalists and percussion instruments need taming, especially when recording on location, this is where the Rubix’s integrated dynamic processors come in to help ensure you get a decent signal that won’t clip or distort. The built-in compressor/limiter gives you peace of mind when recording in the heat of the moment letting you capture sounds without ruining the sound due to clipping and distortion. There is also a +48v Phantom Power switch that works to power condenser microphones and DI boxes so you can utilise them into your sessions.

Studios and stages can be dark places and getting a decent signal is critical to the recording process; however, you also need to focus on the performance of your musicians without having to worry about the incoming signal. It’s annoying when the level indicators are hard to see when you’re across the room from the interface in a dark environment, thanks to Rubix24’s highly-visible level and clip indicators that are an integral part of the interface’s design you can always clearly see when you’re signals are overly hot and require turning down.

The Rubix24 is super-portable and ultra-versatile and features low-latency class-compliant drivers for both PC and Mac which makes it super-easy to get set up with a smooth and highly-reliable audio performance. The Rubix24 also works seamlessly with an iPad which gives you an incredibly compact recording system enabling you to capture sound while on location or live performances. This unit is supplied with a copy of Ableton Live Lite, a powerful studio and performance application that works seamlessly with the Rubix24 straight out of the box.
