Mackie’s Onyx series has been designed to be easily operated, built with LED buttons that shine in the darkness, you will always know where you are and what you are in control of even when the lights are off. You’ll find the Studio Command includes a full-colour display that allows for easy adjustments to be made to effects and playback/recording.

Ready with 12 award-winning Onyx preamps, you won’t miss the additional 60dB of gain. Experience the famous Perkins EQ with variable midranges that offer incredible quality. You won’t be short for digital effects as the Onyx 16 comes pre-loaded, with user-defined reverbs, delays and loops all managed by the dedicated FX EQ.
Whether you choose to use PC or Mac, the Onyx 16 can handle high-resolution multi-track recording at 18x4 96kHz / 24-bit via USB. Send your main mix off to USB with the dedicated switch, and direct recording and playback from SD.
Designed with function in mind, the Onyx 16 has a built-in display so you can browse files on your SD card quickly, along with physical buttons for Previous, Next, Record and Play/Pause you have all the control you would ever need. Save your favourite FX presets onto your device with 6 customisable slots.

Control your sound remotely, the Bluetooth feature to the Onyx 16 allows you to stream audio directly to a dedicated channel on the mixer, with the option to route this to an Aux or Main mix
