Focusrite have teamed up with Positive Grid to provide its collective members their latest plug-in offer. From the 14th May 2020 until the 9th July 2020, Positive Grid’s BIAS FX LE 2 plugin, an all-in-one guitar effects unit, will be available for you to download for free.
Positive Grid are renowned for their quality, and this plug-in is no exception. BIAS FX 2 LE is filled with quality classic and modern amps and effects, which allow you to build upon the bass, guitar or synth amplification and processing. There are 15 amp models which have been put into Hi Gain, Low Gain, Crunch, Bass and Acoustic categories. They include British Lead 800, ’66 AC Boost V2 and ’76 Jazz Combo. There are 22 stompbox and rack style effects to add to the mix, including, running the sonic gamut from compression, delay, chorus, EQ and distortion to reverb, filtering and more.
Pedalboard creation is limitless, and you are able to log into Positive Grid’s free preset storage and sharing system, ToneCloud®, where you can search, filter and download other presets that have been created by other users and well-known industry artists. Another great feature is the Guitar Match system where you can turn one guitar into sounding like another by imposing sound, character and feel. The results are pretty accurate and the realism is on point.
