Denon DJ SC6000 and SC6000M Serato DJ Pro Integration

2 March 2021

Today Denon DJ has announced that the SC6000 and SC6000M PRIME Media Players are now compatible with Serato DJ Pro version 2.4.6. This integration unlocks some fantastic features including 4-deck control, coloured moving waveforms and creative performance control.

DJs will be able to take advantage of the:

  • 10.1-inch HD Touchscreen - where browsing and navigation can be effortlessly carried out and moving RGB waveforms and vital track information can be displayed.
  • Creative Performance Features – Easily accessible Serato control via the hardware, including access to Hot Cues, Loops, Sample, Beat Jump, Roll, Slicer and Pitch Play (Pitch ‘N Play DJ license required).
  • 4 Deck Control – At the touch of a button, you can select and control your mix using any of the 4-decks available in Serato DJ Pro.

When you delve deeper into the integration, there are even more practical features a DJ can take full advantage of:

  • Not only does the screen display the moving waveforms in colour and vital track info, it also shows the extended library, which allows for a deeper playlist and library exploration.
  • Ability to sort the library by artist, tracks, BPM, time or key
  • Needle-drop track search
  • Certified OSA (Official Serato Accessory), although it requires a compatible audio interface or mixer.

In addition to the already released Engine OS 1.6, this new Serato integration makes the flagship PRIME Media Players even more of a powerful and advanced console for DJs to play with.

Denon DJ SC6000 PRIME

SC6000 Prime is an advanced media player that embraces the future of DJ performance technology. The standalone console provides DJs with advanced features, controls and playability through the 10.1-inch touchscreen, large jog-wheel, sophisticated performance pads, Wi-Fi streaming capability and internal HDD drive bay.

Denon DJ SC6000M PRIME

The SC6000M PRIME media player boasts the same advanced and future proof features as the SC6000, with the exception of the 8.5-inch motorised platter that has torque adjustment. This aids in keeping the authentic vinyl feel, and the adjustable torque is ideal for a scratch DJ to adjust to their exact performance requirements.
