Denon DJ has released a new 1.5.0 version of their extensive Engine PRIME software that contains new and improved features. All new Sync Manager

Transferring music has never been simpler via the all-new Sync Manager Feature. Multiple Crates and Playlists can be selected and exported to a connected media device all at the touch of a button. Sync Manager goes deeper than just that; there is information provided that tells you what space is required for the selected Crates or Playlist, along with available space on the media device that is connected. Additionally, performance data changes on Denon DJ Engine OS hardware can be synced backed also, including Hot Cue, Loops and Beat Grid changes.

Track Preview

Users can expect a more intuitive way to preview tracks when preparing and managing their music. A new column has been added so that tracks can be previewed without having to load them to the deck. When the overview waveform is selected in the tracklist, track preview playback is activated. The preview waveform column can be scaled, and hot cue markers provided, to assist users in quickly identifying tracks that are already prepared.

Metadata Batch Editing

In the new Engine PRIME Operating Software v1.5.0 update, multiple track metadata information can be edited simultaneously. Being able to Batch Edit saves a considerable amount of time, especially when working with more extensive sized music collections. The process is simple; users select a group of tracks they want editing, select the field that needs updating and apply the change to all of the tracks that have been selected.

BPM Detection

The all-new BPM Detection Algorithm has been designed and implemented for the new software update from scratch. The analysis process is ultra-fast and highly accurate. Users will experience far more accurate BPM and Beat Grid downbeat placement when compared to previous versions. It is worth noting that tracks are required to be re-analysed in Engine PRIME v1.5 to utilise the new detection algorithm fully.

Improved Features

In addition to the new features highlighted, there have been several enhancements made to existing features. These include improved Beat Grid editing, Local Collection Backup and Restore, Deck Eject and User Preference Support for the Denon DJ SC6000/M, PRIME 2 and PRIME GO.

This massive feature-rich release from Denon DJ makes the Engine PRIME software and Denon DJ hardware range even more of an attractive option for DJs.
