Pioneer DJ Software/Firmware Updates March 2018

Here you will find a list of new features and issues that have been rectified spanning the Pioneer DJ range since last month’s firmware/software update.


Serato DJ Pro Compatibility

Driver software update available for the DJM-900NXS2, DJM-900SRT, DDJ-SZ2 and DDJ-SZ
which now includes support for Serato DJ Pro and integrated driver installers for Windows 10 and 8.1/7. This is in addition to minor issues being resolved and the stability improved. The Serato DJ Pro, resolved issues, and enhanced stability is also applicable for the DJM-S9 and DJM-S3.


DDJ-SB3 Firmware Update (Ver.1.01)

The FX Fade has been fixed as it was reported to not work as it should when the controller was connected to Serato DJ Pro. Additionally, the LED lights now light up correctly when Serato DJ Lite/Pro is launched or closed.


DDJ-RR Firmware update (Ver.1.08)

The tempo settings are now correct when starting rekordbox dj and loading a track.


DDJ-1000 Firmware Update (Ver.1.04)

The error when pressing ‘shift’ and using the jog wheel has been fixed.


Rekordbox – v5.3.0 beta1 (Public BETA)

A new public beta has been released which features new Library Sync. As the name suggests you are able to sync your library to multiple computers using a cloud storage service. In addition to this new feature, several issues have been resolved. This includes rekordbox video where vids and waveforms were not showing when a track was loaded, freezing or crashing when editing on the Macro Editor screen, Artwork was not displaying on some DJ equipment when connected to rekordbox with HID control, off-beat when analysing some tracks and the stability has been improved.
