It has been a while since we sent a Pioneer DJ update your way. Over the past month there have been a short list of new Pioneer firmware and software updates we thought may be of interest.
XDJ-RX2 Ver.1.37 Firmware Update
There have been a couple of fixes in that Memory Loop was unable to be called when the Cue/Loop Call button was pressed, and a different Key sort order was displayed on the Playlist category as opposed to all the other category lists.
DDJ-RZX Ver.1.10 Firmware Update
Only a minor issue on the touch display has been fixed, there is no mention of what the issue was.
TORAIZ SQUID Ver.1.11 and Ver.1.12 Firmware Update
Since the beginning of June there have been two Firmware updates for the SQUID which include several fixes. The Arpeggiator was reportedly not working correctly when the Mono/Poly track setting was set to Mono, and when the track output was CV/GATE1 or CV/GATE2. When the OUT Sync Mode of the clock setting was at 2ppqn in the Global setting it resulted in the external equipment not communicating properly. Other minor issues were reported to have been fixed, however details have not been disclosed as to what they were.
WeDJ for Android compatibility with DDJ-200
Pioneers free mobile DJ app, WeDJ for Android, has been updated to the latest version (ver.1.1.0). The update now includes Android Smartphone users to take charge of the DDJ-200 DJ Controller using Bluetooth wireless technology. The update also includes dedicated GUIs for DDJ-200, waveform upgrade to high-definition, and other bug fixes and improvements.
It is worth noting that this update is solely for Android Smartphone users and the DDJ-200, it does not include other services that may be accessible to iPhone users.
Where to go for the updates
All these updates are available to download directly from the Pioneer DJ website.
