HK Audio Linear 5 L5LTSA Active Satellite Speaker

The HK Audio L5LTSA is a super-compact long-throw satellite speaker that makes use of innovative multi-cell transformer technology alongside a powerful amplifier and robust drivers that make this speaker perfect for a range of applications. This speaker works excellent for mobile DJs, schools and colleges, theatres, events productions, music venues, club and bar venues, and conferences.

The L5LTSA comes fitted with three 8-inch neodymium low-frequency woofers as well as a 1-inch neodymium high-frequency driver that work effortlessly to deliver a broad frequency response that ranges from 100 Hz – 20 kHz. The bi-amplified design features a powerful 1000w Class D amplifier that seamlessly provides you with a massive sound pressure level of 133dB and is able to throw your sound over 30 meters away. A series of active protection circuits work to prevent the system from damaging the integrity of the speaker and includes a thermal protector, under-voltage and over-current protectors, short circuit protection, a subsonic filter, a peak limiter, and a DSP input limiter. A digital signal processor provides you with EQ controls so you can always get the best possible sound for your situation.

The L5 LTS A features a rear panel that provides you with audio connections for connecting mixers, microphones, and instruments as well as link other speakers together for daisy chained PA systems. The connections include a combo ¼-inch TRS Jack/XLR input as well as an XLR thru output. The heavy-duty enclosure is constructed from highly-durable Birch multiplex wood which is finished with textured acrylic enamel that prevents impacts from damaging the cabinet. A large metal grille covers the drivers keeping them protected at all times and is backed with acoustically transparent foam to stop dust and dirt from entering the system. Two integrated handles allow you to easily move the speaker from gig to gig while several M8 rigging points give you the ability to suspend the speaker if required.
