Reliable sound quality, functional design and simple operation have become standard expectations of todays audio technology, and todays artists demand this of their equipment to be able to create unique compositions and projects. The UR44 meets these demanding needs, whatever the requirement.
First-class components
The UR44 hosts four Neutrik analog combo inputs with peak indicator LEDs, as well as switchable +48V phantom power that enables it to provide inputs for electric instruments, condenser microphones or line-level audio equipment depending on your requirements. The ability to toggle Hi-Z support results in no additional DI box being required to connect an electric guitar, or bass. Ready for all recording situations, the UR44 has a total of six input channels that are made up of four mic preamps and two additional line inputs.
Experience true latency-free monitoring thanks to the innovative dspMixFx application, which offers DSP-powered FX to play around with and enjoy, as well recording with compression, EQ, reverb and guitar amp simulation on the headphone mix for a different playback sound. Cubase has been updated to support all of these features directly into the software, with functions integrated into the Cubase mixer and custom Cubase windows. For composers and producers using MIDI keyboards or controllers, the UR44 supports MIDI I/O on the rear panel for added connectivity, meaning there are no limits to your production when using the UR44.
24-bit/192 kHz USB 2.0 audio interface
Top of the range converters provide a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz and a resolution of 24 bits, delivering pristine audio quality.

UR44 offers VST 3 versions of the onboard DSP plug-ins offering useful sound-shaping and FX tools: the Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip, the REV-X reverb and Guitar Amp Classics.
Latency-free monitoring with FX
UR44 offers zero-latency monitoring with FX thanks to the included dspMixFx software with even tighter integration for Cubase owners with auto-setup, custom views, and much more.
