What is the GForce Minimonsta?
The Mini is the inspiration and basis for the GForce Minimonsta and emulates the iconic analogue sound perfectly. GForce describes the Minimonsta virtual instrument as “a Mini emulation on steroids.”
Minimonsta is best broken down into two elements. To start, you have the Mini emulation with all the features and sounds of the mono synth, which includes resonant filter, precise waveforms and ADS envelope generators. Additional functions include loop-feedback and 6000+ factory patches, including some from Rick Wakeman.
Secondly, you have the Monsta part. This is where things get serious and where you, as the user, have the option to designate an LFO to almost any original parameter. This includes individual oscillator volumes, resonance, filter cut-off and each envelope parameter. Additionally, every LFO has delay, sync and numerous shapes.
A little oomph can be added to your performances using the Melohman octave to dynamically morph between 12 patches within a Meta-Patch. Additional performance and dynamic controls include extra LFOs, a versatile dynamic MIDI control and ADSRs.
