This summer, a new Pioneer DJ rekordbox software update, version 6.6.4, is coming your way, including bpm supreme and Cloud Analysis. As a result of the update, you will be able to mix music freely, with or without Wi-Fi, from the bpm supreme library and analyse new tracks quicker.
Bpm supreme
Bpm supreme is the most recent streaming service to be supported by rekordbox. It is in addition to SoundCloud, Beatsource Streaming, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL. Through the rekordbox software, you now access millions of high-quality tracks from bpm supreme. As one of the world's most popular digital music services for DJs, you can select tracks from the catalogue, including playlists, exclusive songs and new releases. They can then be added to your rekordbox playlists and used with Hot Cues, Beat Jumps, loops, etc.
Cloud Analysis
Cloud Analysis can analyse tracks faster in rekordbox for Mac/Windows users. When a new song is loaded into the latest rekordbox software version (6.4.4) and the Cloud Analysis feature is activated, you will find rekordbox instantly and automatically scans its servers to see if another DJs setup has previously analysed the track. If it returns that it has, all the track data, including waveform, beat grid, BPM and vocal position, will be transferred to your rekordbox library. If it comes back that it hasn’t, then it will continue to analyse the track as per usual and additionally upload its data findings to the servers ready for other DJs in the future. Cloud Analysis works with tracks stored on your hard drive and those from streaming services.
