From the 16th January 2020, Focusrite Users and those who are part of their plug-in collective community can download the Monofilter Elements plugin from Nugen Audio absolutely free. On top of that, there is a £100 discount available in the Nugen Audio e-store (for purchases made over £100).
The Monofilter Elements plugin works by mono-ising the low frequencies in the input signal, without the rest of the spectrum being affected. It works using a Monofilter Algorithm slider, just like a depth control, which gradually narrows the low frequencies and raises the cut-off point just below when the mono-ising occurs. There is a Trim Control that permits reduction or increase of the mono share by up to 10dB, and a sweepable high-pass filter which cuts off everything below 20-349Hz.
Also included is a stereo differential spectrum analyser, A/B switch which allows for comparison of two complete parameter states, an undo/redo option, a handy ‘quick start’ pre-set library and available in VST, VST3, Audio Units and AAX plugin formats.
